Restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon

Visited on a Sunday with a ticket. Lovely location. Food was nice, but it was painfully slow. Over 1 hour wait once seated for a breakfast roll. That’s an hour I won’t get back. Manager did knock off the drinks, so fair play.

Great place for a day or weekend trip, it’s a must visit if you’re in the area and love cars, or just taking a brake from the city. My boys enjoyed checking out the cars and speaking to car owners about all things automotive. Very polite and friendly staff and we enjoyed amazing coffee and burgers.

I've been here many times since it opened. However, it's been changing. Paid for a ticketed event, parking has got really bad. Waited for about 20 minutes at the 2nd bar to be served and take our food order. This was due to a technical hitch, but having paid for tickets, this was disappointing. We then waited another 45 mins for our food, which was disappointing for the price (£15) as well. Toilets were out of order. When we went to leave we qued again for a coffee, this was 15 mins and for just a rubbish coffee. Why the name if you can't win with the basics? It's sad. This place has done a lot for me and my mates over the years, but it just "feels like a chain" now. I hope the summer brings new energy into it.

My favourite place to go, plenty of nice cars, staff are lovely and an amazing place to pass time. The food is absolutely gorgeous, better than 95% of actual restaurants with good variety. Have been here many many times before and will continue to come, no faults with it whatsoever apart from food does take a long time but is well worth the wait!

Frustrating! Disorganised and chaotic, long waits for food and getting a coffee was almost impossible….

My experience here was a poor one spent £10 for entry to spend almost 2 hours in the tent waiting for our food instead of looking at the cars. Usually im very chilled but the food took 1hour and 40minutes and people who arrived after us got there food first. The staff were very friendly but i had to ask 3 separate people for something to be done about our food. When ordering the food i decided on buttermilk chicken tenders and chips, for £9 it is not worth the chicken im not sure what they’re supposed to be like but in my mind they’re supposed to be breaded and crispy not chewy and tough. The food was okay at most, definitely not worth the money or time wasted.

Paid £10 for entry, no unique cars, literally nothing special. Waited over an hour for food and 40 minutes for a pint. Food was OK, but considering £20 for a burger it was terrible. Also, tons of people get stuck in the car park because it's just mud.

Myself, my partner and his mates all travelled over an hour away to attend Caffeine and Machines event at The Hill in Stratford-Upon-Avon. We all got there at 11:30 and was told by the Marshalls, there are no tickets available until 2:00pm and would need to book tickets online and come back later. However, my partner's mates were let into the event with their cars, with no tickets as well, whilst we were shoved away. Which my partner has never had a problem before as people could just turn up. When we drove through the car park to find the exit, there was plenty of parking spaces, and the event itself did not seem packed with people, so I'm not too sure what the issue was. We had pulled over outside of the event to try and book tickets and find somewhere else to go in the meantime whilst we wait as we do not know the area well. One of the Marshalls came up to the car (unfortunately I did not get his name) but he was quite rude and told my partner and I, that we needed to go as we was supposedly blocking the exit, which we wasn't, as we was parked in the lay-by to try and figure out where to go. Unfortunately, due to service we received, I don't think myself or my partner will be going back there. This used to be the type of place where car enthusiasts could just turn up to the event, be welcomed and have a good time. Now it seems to have become a commercialised establishment.

Awesome cafe and day out but took 20 mins for a coffee as only one barista for 100 customers 😳
