Kuka Museum

Museum | Bolzano | Trentino-Alto Adige | Italy

The Kuka Museum in Bolzano is an important cultural institution dedicated to Outsider Art. Founded in 2018, it has established itself as a non-commercial museum that showcases works by artists who work outside of the established art market. The name "Kuka" comes from a nickname of the founder, who was himself an Outsider artist.

Collection and Exhibitions

The museum houses a diverse collection of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and drawings created by artists who often work without formal training and develop their own unique expressions. These works offer an authentic insight into the creative energy and individual perspectives of the artists.

Activities and Events

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Kuka Museum regularly organizes cultural events, workshops, and temporary exhibitions that explore various aspects of Outsider Art. These activities promote dialogue between artists and the public and contribute to the appreciation of this special art form.

The Kuka Museum thus makes a significant contribution to Bolzano's cultural landscape, offering visitors the opportunity to discover and experience the diversity and depth of Outsider Art.
