The Pinacoteca Malaspina in Pavia is an important art museum located in the historic Castello Visconteo. The Pinacoteca Malaspina was established through the legacy of Marquis Luigi Malaspina di Sannazzaro, who bequeathed his art collection to the city of Pavia. In 2000, the collection was expanded with the establishment of the Quadreria dell'Ottocento, which includes works from the 19th century.
